Visit from Hal Mi - March - May 2007

Kaia's Hal Mi came to visit at the end of March 2007. She got to see Kaia's new home and had a chance to recuperate from an illness in the fresh air of the Bay Area. Kaia and her Hal Mi had such a great time with each other for the past two months. Going to gymnastics with her and seeing how much she'd improved. And just experiencing the developing personality of Kaia. These pictures were taken the day before Hal Mi returned home to Korea at the Stanford Mall. You can see the resemblance and closeness the two share. In fact, it was very difficult to get Kaia to take a picture with her Hal Mi. We realized it was because she understood that her Hal Mi was going to leave and was avoiding the departure, knowing that the pictures were connected to Hal Mi's departure. She only gave in at the last minute. Hal Mi will be missed.
