Celebrating the newly achieved nighttime "trainer potty girl"!
Yesterday Kaia and mama went to Target to pick out new underwear (out of an array of choices, Kaia selected Little Mermaid underwear) and to get more Dora bandaids as part of Kaia's celebration treat for having dry jammies in the morning without a diaper for a month. We also baked a celebration cake and Kaia and papa decorated the cake with raspberry jam in the middle and frosting and SPRINKLES for the top.
Kaia had been receiving five jelly beans in the morning in a special "dry jammie" jar each morning that she didn't have an accident. But after about a month of leanring to pee-pee before bed and then hold her pee-pee 'til morning, she'd figured it out. So, we decided it was time to celebrate and move on from jelly beans. Kaia wore one of her pairs of Little Mermaid underwear to bed and ate a piece of cake (and then proceeded to bounce off the walls for an hour and had trouble falling asleept at 10P), but we now can say we no longer have a "trainer potty girl" but a TRAINED potty girl. No more diapers. Not no more accidents, we're certain of that. But the diapers are gone. :-)
